Privacy Policy

Effective August 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Jordan and Jordan LLC, doing business as FigureWire (“FigureWire,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use figurewire.com and our related alerts, communications, and services (collectively, the “Service”).

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account information: name, email address, authentication provider identifiers, and profile image when supplied by a sign-in provider.
  • Subscription information: plan and subscription status, customer and subscription identifiers, billing period, and related transaction records. Payment-card information is collected and processed by Stripe; FigureWire does not receive full card numbers.
  • Communications information: phone number, notification choices, text-message consent and opt-out status, delivery status, and information you send when contacting us.
  • Preferences: figures and source types you choose to include or exclude from your feed.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage information: pages viewed, referring pages, approximate location derived from an IP address, browser and device type, and interactions with the Service.
  • Authentication and security information: session identifiers, IP address, user agent, login-link and verification records, timestamps, and security or diagnostic events.
  • Service activity: alert delivery, email or text delivery status, subscription events, and operational logs used to keep the Service reliable.

Public-source information

FigureWire collects public statements, news, videos, social-media posts, government publications, source metadata, and market data to create alerts. This material may contain names, likenesses, statements, and other information about public figures or other individuals. We use it to provide and improve the market-monitoring Service, not to build consumer profiles for targeted advertising.

2. How we collect information

We collect information:

  • directly from you when you create an account, subscribe, choose preferences, or contact us;
  • from authentication, payment, communications, analytics, and infrastructure providers;
  • automatically through cookies, session technologies, logs, and analytics; and
  • from public websites, feeds, APIs, news outlets, social platforms, and market-data providers.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • provide, personalize, secure, and maintain the Service;
  • authenticate users and manage accounts, subscriptions, and billing;
  • collect public-source material and generate, rank, display, and deliver alerts;
  • send requested account, service, email, and text communications;
  • measure performance, troubleshoot problems, prevent abuse, and improve the Service;
  • enforce our agreements and comply with legal obligations; and
  • protect FigureWire, our users, sources, providers, and the public.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, security, preferences, and session continuity. We also use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate site traffic and performance. Your browser may let you block or delete cookies, but doing so can prevent sign-in and other features from working.

FigureWire does not currently use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not sell personal information for money.

5. How we disclose information

We may disclose information to:

  • Service providers: vendors that provide hosting, databases, authentication, analytics, payment processing, email, text messaging, security, market data, and automated analysis. These may include Vercel, Neon, Google, Apple, Stripe, SendGrid, ClickSend, Textbelt, Twilio, and OpenAI, depending on the features you use and our current configuration.
  • Legal and safety recipients: courts, regulators, law enforcement, or others when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or the integrity of the Service.
  • Business-transfer recipients: a buyer, investor, adviser, or successor in connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of some or all of our business or assets.
  • At your direction: third parties you choose to connect with or authorize us to share information with.

We may disclose aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

6. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain security and business records, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention varies by record. For example, authentication sessions generally expire after 30 days and email sign-in links generally expire after 15 minutes. Subscription, consent, transaction, delivery, fraud-prevention, and legal records may be kept longer. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably needed, subject to legal and operational exceptions.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted transport, access controls, signed service requests, and restricted production credentials. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, lost, or altered without authorization.

8. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • request access to or a copy of personal information we maintain about you;
  • request correction or deletion of personal information;
  • object to or request restriction of certain processing;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
  • appeal a decision or complain to a privacy regulator.

You may unsubscribe from optional email through the method provided in the message, disable available notifications in your account, and opt out of texts by replying STOP. Transactional or security messages may continue where necessary. To submit a privacy request, email help@figurewire.com. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where permitted or required by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

9. California disclosures

California residents may have rights to know, correct, or delete personal information and to receive information about its use and disclosure, subject to legal thresholds and exceptions. FigureWire does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by California law. We do not knowingly use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit under California law.

California’s “Shine the Light” law permits certain residents to request information about disclosures for third parties’ direct-marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing without your permission.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

11. International users

FigureWire is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from another country, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws than your country.

12. Third-party services and links

Third-party sites and services have their own privacy practices. This Policy does not govern information handled independently by a linked news outlet, social platform, market-data provider, authentication provider, payment processor, or other third party.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the Service, our practices, or the law. We will post the revised version and update the effective date. We will provide additional notice of material changes when required by law.
